VillaVena: Villareal & Ravena

Having her by my side is one of the best things in life. She's a friend that is always there to support me, a friend that is always there ready to listen to me, cheers me up when I'm down, gives me advice when I'm confused at times and helps me if I have problems. I call her my "twin." We may not look alike, we may have different likes and dislikes, but as what they've said "opposites attract." She's special to me, she accepted me in their group. She's almost like a sister to me and a person that I can lean on.

January 13, 2012: MORNING was the Report Card Day of Assumption-Iloilo and the birthday of my dorm mate Krystal Ann Kimmel. At first, the day started with a tension since we are all unsure of what will be the results of our hard work in school plus the fact that it is "Friday the 13th," popularly known as a day of bad luck and misfortune but when I received my card, I felt relieved and satisfied to see that the grades being shown to me were fair enough.

January 13, 2012: MID-AFTERNOON the nervous feelings of receiving my card faded away and it was time to celebrate Krystal Kimmel's birthday which was at SM City Iloilo. Arriving at the venue, the first thing that we did was wait for Cheska Cacnio to arrive so she can stroll around the mall with us (Me, Krystal, Janeah, Nicole & Gianen). After she arrived and we have window-shopped a few stores inside the mall, we headed to Mooon Cafe for dinner treated the birthday celebrant. The foods ordered was pasta (carbonara), onion rings, baby-back ribs & a family-sized pizza.

January 13, 2012: NIGHT the celebration wasn't over yet. After the scrumptious dinner, we all decided that before returning to the dorm, we would visit and experience the carnival that was located around SM City grounds. There were a few attractions but we've only rode in the roller coaster & a swing-like-carousel ride.

I can never forget this day for it is a SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS moment!

P.S: We were all wearing BLUE Tees. :)

Soaked in the Rain: Boracay

It was in the month of May 2012 when our family took a 3-day vacation to Boracay. During the first day of our trip, we as a family (except for my brother and dad) went swimming at the beach and tried to make sand castles with my sister and cousin. By the night of that day, we all went to 'Estacio Uno' to have our dinner.

On the second day of our stay in Boracay was when the fun began. All of us went to Shangri-La Resort, Boracay for sight-seeing and after we had our lunch, the three of us (me, my brother & father) took a ride on the Go Kart's just to have an experience since I've never went Go Kart racing before. As we had our fun driving the Go Kart's, rain began to pour leaving us soaking wet. Despite how slippery the Go Kart track was and how wet our clothes were, we just continued driving and have fun ignoring the state we were in.
Racing around the Go Kart track with my dad.

After our Go Kart racing, me, my brother and my dad
were pretending to be winners.
When the third day came, it was time for us to pack up our belongings and return to my hometown. From this whole trip I've realized a few things. For instance, I realized that no matter how busy my parents were, they would always manage to find some free time to relax and enjoy a day with us. I will always cherish those unforgettable moments with my family and I hope to encounter more in the future.
